  My friend and I were so looking forward to our first visit to Bridal Gallery, as it was her first time out since getting engaged to browse at wedding dresses. We were also interested in browsing bridesmaids dresses for my own wedding. From the moment we walked in we were made to feel uncomfortable and unwanted. The women were not only unhelpful but rude - tone, body language, etc. In addition, we were told that we should "make an appointment" and "come back", even though we were the only customers in the store. Disappointing to say the least, as we were only looking to browse and gather some ideas. We will absolutely not be making an appointment but will be spreading the word that Bridal Gallery does not provide a pleasant experience. On a positive note, Bridal Couture, His & Her Bridal and It's Your Day all provided us with warmth, excitement and genuine interest in a way that one would expect from a bridal boutique.

  I bought a beautiful dress for a good price but when it came to altering it, my experience turned into a nightmare. At the second fitting, my dress obviously smelled of cigarette smoke, and the seamstress denied it. The sales staff had to confirm the smell of my dress. Then I was told that it was in the trunk of her car and she then dumped all of her personal problems on me. I am appalled and furious at how unprofessional this is and I am presently waiting for a solution with my dress that now smells like I bought it at a resale shop.
