  My experience in taking in clothes for cash was relatively positive. I called ahead to see if they were taking clothes and shoes and it was suggested that I come in before noon. The salesperson was very pleasant on the phone and with my husband who took in the clothes. They want clothes that are in like new condition, not just excellent. Some of our clothes were rejected and not having been there I am not sure why, but I get that they want like new condition. My husband left the rejected clothing to be donated to a charity. They pay $1 per pound for the clothes, which I get too because they resale for very little. My only complaint is that I wish they had this information on their website, how they pay, best time to bring in items, the like new condition, etc. Had I known I would not have left the Oscar de la Renta sweater set!
