  Good quality products. Often hard to find items. Tools tend to be high end and expensive, but for some, that's what they're looking for. Good selection of cabinet hardware. Looking for Veritas tools? This is the place. Also offers night classes for various things. I found the employees are generally very helpful, available while not being in your face. Giving you time to just roam around and look.

  My favourite store since 1982. Unique and highest quality tools for the woodworker, gardener, cook/chef or hobbyist. Very knowledgeable staff, who go out of their way to assist, yet give you the space to browse the store at your leisure. I've taken a few of their in-house classes (wood carving, tool sharpening). taught by local and out-of-town artisans who are excellent in their field of expertise. A great place to "chew the fat" with other hobbiest. Favourable exchange rates and close proximity to the United States border makes this very competitive with stores like Rockler and Woodcraft in SE Michigan and NW Ohio.
